A Man Space Of Your Very Own

A man cave in your own house is a fantastic place to spend some time alone, or have a night with your buddies. YouTube and webpages all over the internet are devoted to the man cave craze. Building a man room doesn’t have to cost you a lot, or mean that you need a large extra space. All you need is a garage, a basement, or a spare room in your residence. Listening to your old LP’s, playing video games, and watching sports in your own personal cave will never be better.

A man music room is a fantastic idea if you are a music lover, and want time alone to unwind and relax. It can be a great place to keep your music collection on display, as well as instruments and old collectible merchandise your wife may not want anywhere else in the house. If at all possible, you should insulate your music room for sound, so that you can play your instruments and your records at decent levels without bugging everyone else. Instead of serious construction, you can install simple products that will proof the walls in your space from sound. Most importantly, you want a nice place to have your pals over, listen to old music, and have a good time.

The sports room is always a favorite notion when it comes to building a man place. Nothing can be better than having your own area to watch the big game, play pool or air-hockey, or set up a card tournament with some pals. Design and decorating choices for this style of space are endless. At the head of your list should be a wide screen TV and a great sound system. Comfortable chairs, a refrigerator and or bar, jersey display cases to hang your jerseys, and shadow boxes and cabinets for personal trophies and souvenirs are all great ideas.

A favorite notion is a workshop, for the man who likes to do things with his hands. This one you may need a little more space for. Ideally, a garage, den, or attic would be perfect. You do not want to bring in oil, sawdust, or any other mess you might make into the house. Maybe you like tinkering with old autos, sculpting, painting, or building furniture. What type of work you like to do will determine which space works best. You will want a space that is broad enough for a sitting spot, a workspace, and a place to store your tools. Things to consider are a mini refrigerator, a stereo or iPod dock for music, and a workbench.

You don’t need to spend a lot of cash no matter which direction you elect to go in. With some creativity and a little extra room, you can have a man cave of your very own to escape in.

Send a photo of the painting to the appropriate Embassy and they will forward it to the country of origin. You should receive a response from the museum of the country that the knows who the painter is and how much is is worth in their currency.

I have done this with a painting of King Oscar of Sweden and Norway and sent the photo to the Palace. They sent the photo to experts and told me who painted it, although it was signed. I could not read the signature, but the museum knew who painted it and when.

This message board will not help you. You must investigate by contacting museums and the country of origin to find out what the artwork you have. You can also send good photos to both Christie's auction house as well as Sotheblys. They can help you further.
