One-of-a-Kind Wall Art To Customize Your Space

When you step inside someone else’s home, the first thing you will notice is the overall look with which the interior has been designed. You can usually determine right away if the home has been embellished with contemporary, art deco, or country designs, among others. Beyond these, however, you will be able to see through the various decorative elements the owner’s personal preference and sense of style.

People go to great lengths just to be able to make their living spaces unique, attractive, and outstanding. In an era which has given importance to diversity and individuality, more and more homeowners have begun to incorporate design elements through which can showcase their unique personalities. Even though most folks believe that this will take a complete renovation, there are less costly techniques that will achieve the same result. An easy and simple way to do that is to accentuate unique wall art in specific areas of your home. From wall sculptures made of metal or wood to canvas wall art and posters, you will discover a big selection of design pieces to select from. Let's look at some examples.

Personalized Posters.
What could be more unique than your image or your name? In this line, one of the best ways to incorporate unique wall art in the home is to use personalized posters that integrate your names in the design. In the nursery for example, parents have begun using alphabet posters, decals, or letter plaques bearing the name of their children. In the foyer, you can hang a stylized photograph rendered in black and white featuring a family portrait. You may also look at lining the walls on the landing leading up to the rooms with various framed photographs of friends and family. Not only are these individualized, they also lend an inviting feel that can turn your house into a home.

Paintings.
Two-dimensional visual art such as canvas paintings and prints as well as similar elements provide a wonderful way to personalize the living space. The kind of style you prefer, the colors, the theme, and the subject of these paintings will certainly showcase your personal style. You can share your aesthetic sense of style with these paintings, whether you choose whimsical, romantic, classical, modern, or abstract subject matter. They are also great conversational pieces that will allow visitors to understand who you are as an individual.

Wall Sculptures.
Another great example of multi-dimensional wall art is illustrated by the metal wall plaque. These are unique pieces crafted by hand that you can either buy pre-made or commission an artist to do. Wall sculptures can heighten the interior design scheme and coordinate with the overall scheme of the home. For example, using wooden wall sculptures gives an air of rural country style style, while those created from polished metal can lend a modern look to the home; or a dimensional palm tree wall art can be hung in a home with a tropical motif.

From canvas wall art, wood and metal sculptures, as well as posters and photographs, you can try out any of these design ideas and begin infusing your personal sense of style to your home.

Is modern art/abstracts framed of just hanged on its canvas without a frame?

I'm doing a modern/abstract painting as a gift for a friend, but I have seen some modern art just hanging by their canvas and not framed. Is either way acceptable?

Artist's prerogative, you decide..

You Will Love The Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Trailer

COD MW 3 is so cool! I have the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 trailer right here in this post. Yes, the Call OF Duty Modern Warfare 3 trailer is cool, but first what are some of the new modes?

The single player campaign: is a lot like MW 2. The player becomes the character you want to become, or must become during each mission as your perspectives change. As the player dies it is a realistic effect as blood splatters on the screen getting bloodier as you die, no numbers or percentages. The player fights alongside other troops who you can not give orders to, etc.

What I love about the MW series is the save game element, where if you go one way, or another, in battle, either clear out rooms, or fight along the boulevards, the game dynamically changes enemy locations, bringing the fight to you, so to speak, and allowing you to play a single level many times, and each time it will be a little different. Lets say you fight along the street and you get killed, the next time you decide to fight the rooms, its too heavy so you go along the street again, and the bad guys there are gone, etc.

Cooperative mode: this is new and cool! Don't forget to watch the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 trailer.

Survival Mode is featured in Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

This basically means that unending waves of bad guys come down upon your buddies, as each wave gets more and more difficult. The bad guys spawn at tactical positions based on the current location of the player, I love this! Players can earn cash for items such as weapons, upgrades and ammo, and survival mode will be available on all multi player maps.

Multi player: has been improved, re-doing the killstreak reward system. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 also has a new ranking and unlock system. Don’t forget to watch the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 trailer.

They took out stuff that make players rely less on skill and more on perks.

Kill Confirmed, Team Defender, Drop Zone, Gun Game, and One in the Chamber, are some other new game modes.

Call of Duty: Elite

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3: Elite is released by Beachhead Studios. A new free/subscription-based service for the multi player portion of Modern Warfare 3, which will work for Black Ops too is what its all about.

Lifetime statistics and social-networking integration is what you get with the free version. The paid version will cost $49.99 USD for a whole year, including monthly downloads, competitions on a daily basis where you can win real and virtual prizes. You can also get pro analysis and strategies, and level up your clan. MW 3 sounds even better than Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

How much should I start out the prices if I am going to be selling my....?

own art work off my website? Its modern abstract art.
For those of you that find this funny, this isnt something I take lightly. So either answer with some inteligence or dont answer at all.

Go to art fairs and see what similar styles and sizes are getting. Good ones from unknown painters can be worth a couple thousand, if they attract the right buyer. If you just want to move merchandise, $75 to $400 is a good starting point.
